April 25, 2023: Nick Hambruch, currently starring as Pilate in the 50th Anniversary Broadway National Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, attended the anticipated new production of “Parade” on a day off in New York during his few days off prior to traveling to the next venue. 

Suddenly he found himself face to face with Katharine McPhee, who was attending with her husband, David Foster.

They exchanged stories and words of admiration for the incredible talent on stage and spoke about the impact Katharine’s performance in Smash had on him, and the Superstar cast as a whole. They also spoke about the brilliance of Jesus Christ Superstar.
