Last weekend, Katharine McPhee joined husband David Foster to host an exclusive fundraiser at their Los Angeles home in support of reality star Spencer Pratt’s 2026 run for Mayor of Los Angeles, PageSix reports.

News personality Alicia Summers was in attendance and shared video on Instagram of Katharine making up new lyrics for Tina Turner’s hit “The Best,” singing that Pratt is “better than [LA Mayor] Karen Bass and [LA Councilmember] Nithya Raman.”

Katharine and David have been vocal about their desire to see change in Los Angeles, and their support for Pratt—who is running on a platform focused on public safety and homelessness—marks a significant celebrity endorsement for the “Pratt Pack” campaign.
