This holiday season, Katharine McPhee is continuing her work with the charity foundation buildOn to help give the gift of education to a village in Burkina Faso, one of the world’s economically poorest countries. Katharine announced on Twitter that she will be matching donations up to $30,000 for this great cause.

“Investing in education and opportunity for young people is a major priority in our lives, and we are thrilled that with the help of buildOn we can maintain our ongoing commitment to improving education for the children of Burkina Faso. Join me in sharing the gift of education with Burkina Faso,” Katharine said in a statement.
