Katharine McPhee has been enjoying her time off from Waitress by touring Europe with her boyfriend David Foster, and while visiting the Italian island of Capri, Foster popped the big question! Katharine’s rep, Leslie Sloan, confirmed the engagement to TMZ.

Katharine McPhee and David Foster have been dating since last year, but they’ve known each other for much longer. The two met when Katharine was on American Idol, and remained friends and continued working together afterwards.
