A few weeks ago Katharine McPhee teased that she was back on set and now we know why. Variety is reporting that Katharine McPhee and Henry Thomas, best known as Elliot from 1982’s E.T., will star in the independent film Three People in the Woods.
Directed by Joshua Caldwell (“Mending the Line”), the film follows a grieving couple who kidnap the man they believe is responsible for the death of their teenage daughter in order to exact their revenge. However after dragging him into the woods they find their resolve is tested and the couple soon begin to unravel.
“Three People in the Woods is a story about grief, moral certainty, and the consequences of the choices we make when the world feels unrecognizable,” said Caldwell. “I’m thrilled to be working with this incredible cast to bring this tense, emotional journey to the screen.”
No word on a release date or where fans will be able to watch the movie, but stay tuned to KatharineMcPhee.net for more information on Three People in the Woods as we get it.
