Katharine McPhee is currently still on the road with husband David Foster to perform some shows of David’s “Hitman – David Foster & Friends” in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and a final stop in Jakarta, where they will both do a private and public concert.
Third stop was Singapore on August 8, with special guests Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin and Andreah, who also joined them in Kuala Lumpur.
Katharine treated the audience with performances like “Cry me a river”, which she and David performed during The Masked Singer, but also sang a duet with both Peabo Bryson and Michael Bolton, for “Beauty and the Beast” and “The prayer“.
David Foster surprised Katharine on stage requesting her to perform her signature “Somewhere over the rainbow“, and before the shows finale, Loren Allred and Katharine performed a Whitney Houston, where Loren sang “I have nothing” and then Katharine came to finish the medley with heart touching “I will always love you”. David being a respected perfectionist, he wanted Katharine to start over since the sound of her mic wasn’t right to hear the audience sing along.
The group ended the show with “Got to be real” and were ready for a few days off until their next shows in Jakarta!
