Television Academy chairman Bruce Rosenblum took the stage on the FXX broadcast of the 2016 Creative Arts Emmy Awards last night to honor American Idol with a special Governors Award.

Rosenblum then introduced one of American Idol’s biggest stars, Katharine McPhee, to perform her classic song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.
