Katharine McPhee and David Foster have released another taste of their new holiday album, ‘Christmas Songs.’ Take a listen to their lovely rendition of “Blue Christmas” now.
“I told David I wanted to record Blue Christmas because it was always a song I played during the Holidays when I would think about my future special someone,” Katharine says of the song, “And little did I know, it would be David, the man I’ve known as a colleague and friend for over 17 years.”
David joins in, “Elvis always had a knack for picking great songs. It makes sense that he would pick Blue Christmas. It’s a sad song, but somehow there is a Christmas joy in it. That’s the Magic of Blue Christmas.”
