It’s official! Katharine McPhee will be returning to our TVs soon with a brand new show! CBS has ordered ‘Scorpion’ to series.

Inspired by a true story, the action-packed drama follows an eccentric genius (played by Elyes Gabel) and his network of prodigies who operate as a think tank formed by Homeland Security to deal with the complex threats of the modern age. Even as they solve the most dangerous and mind-boggling of national issues, these socially awkward misfits can’t seem to get out of their own way when it comes to life outside the laboratory. 

That’s where Kat’s character, Paige, comes in. She is a diner waitress who becomes a caretaker and translator for this super team of socially misunderstood masterminds. Paige helps them learn to fit-in and live in a world where literally being “one in a billion” can be as lonely as it sounds.
