After making her Broadway debut in Waitress this April, Katharine McPhee has announced that she will extend her limited engagement through the summer. She will continue in the lead role of Jenna from July 5 through August 19, instead of the previously announced June 17 end date. She will take a break in between her engagements from June 18 through July 4.

Katharine has been receiving rave reviews for her role in the musical, which features music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles. She recently won Broadway.com’s Audience Choice Award for Favorite Female Replacement.
