Katharine McPhee is heading back into the recording studio next month!

The singer and actress announced the news in an interview with WSVN 7News at an event in Miami last weekend to celebrate her Ocean Drive Magazine cover.

Don’t expect another pop album though. Katharine gave a sneak peek at what to expect by singing some old standards at that Ocean Drive party. She collaborated with jazz legend Don Was multiple times this year, and he’s expected to produce the new album.
